I'M A RESEARCH ANALYST

I like formulating questions and hypotheses about how things work and why. While synthesizing existing information, theories, and methods to inform my projects, it is also important to me that my work contributes to new knowledge.

I'M A DATA SCIENTIST

I enjoy taking big amounts of data, identifying complex patterns, and explaining those trends in ways that are understandable to broader audiences. New statistical methods that explore change over time are especially interesting to me.

In my work, I use quantitative statistical skills to analyze longitudinal trends in large-scale data over time. Broadly, my research focuses on various aspects of family formation and child well-being.

Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology and the Population Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin. Upon completing my dissertation, I will graduate in May 2017.

I am a data scientist and research analyst.
